Elsevierの投稿規定を抜粋します。
Declaration of interest
All authors must disclose any financial and personal relationships with other people or organizations that could inappropriately influence (bias) their work. Examples of potential competing interests include employment, consultancies, stock ownership, honoraria, paid expert testimony, patent applications/registrations, and grants or other funding. Authors must disclose any interests in two places: 1. A summary declaration of interest statement in the title page file (if double anonymized) or the manuscript file (if single anonymized). If there are no interests to declare then please state this: ‘Declarations of interest: none’. 2. Detailed disclosures as part of a separate Declaration of Interest form, which forms part of the journal’s official records. It is important for potential interests to be declared in both places and that the information matches.

赤字と青字の解説をします。
1. Elsevierが出版する雑誌には、a）雑誌によって査読がdouble anonymized（著者・査読者名が互いに伏せられる：二重匿名化）されている場合と、b）single anonymized（著者には査読者名が伏せられる）場合があります。
投稿する雑誌がどちらに該当するのかを確かめて、a）double anonymized の場合はCOIをタイトルページに、b）single anonymizedなら、本文中に記載します。 COIがない場合は ‘Declarations of interest: none’ と記載します。
[注意] 文頭（コロンの前）に、Authors must disclose any interests in two places: とあり、two places とあるので（タイトルページと本文）に書く著者がいらっしゃいますが、そういう意味ではありません.

2. にある “Separate Declaration of Interest form” は、別の書類の必要性を示唆しています。そしてその書類の情報は本文のものと一致していなければなりません。

COI がない場合、雑誌によって例文が異なります

同じElsevierでもTheriogenologyでは下記の例文が記載されています。
This research did not receive any specific grant from funding agencies in the public, commercial, or not-for-profit sectors.

Brain の規定 [例]
The authors report no competing interests.

Springerの規定 [例]
1. The authors have no relevant financial or non-financial interests to disclose.
2. The authors have no conflicts of interest to declare that are relevant to the content of this article.
3. All authors certify that they have no affiliations with or involvement in any organization or entity with any financial interest or non-financial interest in the subject matter or materials discussed in this manuscript.
4. The authors have no financial or proprietary interests in any material discussed in this article.

規定に例文がない場合、以下のような文章も使えます。
著者全員（利益相反がない場合）
1. The authors have no competing interests to disclose.
2. The authors declare that they have no conflict of interest.
3. The authors declare no conflicts of interest associated with this manuscript.
4. None of the authors has any conflicts of interest or any financial ties to disclose.
5. All authors have declare: no support from any organization for the submitted work; no financial relationships with any organizations that might have an interest in the submitted work in the previous three years; no other relationships or activities that could appear to have influenced the submitted work.
